One of the steps in creating an exhibition, is the process of evaluating the exhibition, including; front-end evaluation, formative evaluation, remedial and summative evaluation. Beyond the exhibition evaluation is the institutional balancing act.
The fifth step in creating an exhibition, is the process of maintaining the exhibition, including; exhibit cleaning, scheduled maintenance, repairs, checking environmental conditions and checking artifact / Art security.
The forth step in creating an exhibition, is the process of exhibition installation, including; exhibit load-in, staging, casework installation, A/V installation, Art / artifact installation, punch list, soft opening and evaluation.
The third step in creating an exhibition, is the process of exhibition fabrication, including; contracting, working drawings, sourcing components, fabrication, A/V production and prototyping.
The second step in creating an exhibition, is the process of creating the documents to communicate the design of the exhibition.
